Vegas Baby!

When people ask us about Vegas, they want to know about the nightlife, the gambling, the parties, or the amazing performers.

And there are so many amazing things to say!

But my favorite parts of Las Vegas (so far) have been the odd and in-between places that you need to put on your to-do list.

The hidden gems.

The secret spots.

The must-see museums.

And more!

Here are some of my favorite spots in Las Vegas. Whether you're a tourist, a traveler, or a tried-and-true expert on Sin City, you can always find something new to discover.

Some of these spots may not be flashy or in-your-face, but they offer some great entertainment for anyone willing to think outside the box!

Hours: 11AM-11PM
Price: Most games are 25, 50, or 75 cents
Location: 1610 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119
This one surprised me at first. After reading a few negative reviews online, I was hesitant to try this out. But I had to see what this place was all about, and let me tell you, it was so worth it.

You walk into an arcade that stretches for rows and rows. Vintage pinball machines are rubbing elbows with brand new games, and the constant bells and dings will have you digging around for a quarter to play.

There's more than just pinball machines! Try to win a stuffed animal, hear your fortune from Zoltar, or take some photos in the photobooth. My favorite game was a vintage 2-player basketball game, where you had to press the right number to launch the basketball toward your opponent's hoop.

Hours: 6AM-5PM
Price: $15 entrance fee per vehicle, $5 entrance fee per bicycle
Location: State Highway 159, Las Vegas, NV 89161

Red Rock Canyon is perfect for walkers, hikers, adventure seekers, and more. There are miles upon miles of beautiful rocks, amazing slot canyons, and winding scenic roads.

Bring a picnic and a few friends to go explore for a couple hours, and see a different side of Vegas that doesn't include flashy lights or loud music.

What's better than fresh air and gorgeous views?

Hours: 9AM-2AM
Price: $30-60, depending on time of day
Location: 4627 Koval Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89109

You DO NOT have to be a golfer to enjoy hitting a few golf balls into the Las Vegas skyline! Trust me—I have only played mini golf, and I still enjoyed hanging out at Top Golf. In fact, the Las Vegas TopGolf is the largest of all the TopGolfs in the country!

Be prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour, because this place is popular. You can have up to 6 people in a "bay," and you get that bay for an hour! Challenge each other with TopGolf's provided games, or hit a golf ball as hard as you can!

Dine in at TopGolf with their delicious menu options, or play at night for an even cooler panoramic view! This venue is perfect for families, parties, company gatherings, and more.

Hours: 10AM-9PM
Price: Free parking, and free to walk around!
Location: 1980 Festival Plaza Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135

If you're ready to shop 'til you drop, Downtown Summerlin is the place to go. Located in Northwest Las Vegas, Downtown Summerlin has everything you need for an amazing afternoon or evening.

Window shop, grab a snack, or people watch! I was truly impressed by how upscale and nice this area really looks.

All the major retail brands are right in one area, and the fire pits and mood lighting really make this a hotspot for anyone.

Hours: Open 24 hours
Price: Free!
Location: S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89054

You've never seen a pit stop more colorful. They look like Fruity Pebbles or Pop Rocks, but this public artwor is the work of artist Ugo Rondinone.

Visible from the I-15, Seven Magic Mountains welcome visitors into Vegas. Take as many pictures as you want, and gaze upward at the sheer beauty and height of these rocks! It seems like a simple destination, but it will make your Instagram even brighter and bolder.

Whatever your goal is in Las Vegas, make your journey a little more interesting by visiting something off The Strip! The best vacations are often unexpected and full of surprises. I've loved these spots and will probably go back to visit them!
